o7 i'm reporting back for duty.

i was unable to get into my cockpit for over a year by now :( i basically slept through all of the Thargoid war. let all of my fellow commanders do all the hard work. but tbh i wouldnt have been much help anyway as a pure explorer. i got a lot of catching up to do. lots of new things to consider, learn and see.

my personal goals still are far away places to visit. colonia, sagittarius A* and just the farthest reaches of the galaxy. heard there even is a new explorer ship coming soon. maybe i will upgrade :)

I finally got it.

Took me long enough as well. First of all a big Thanks to DTEA and Hawkes Gaming since they helped me a lot with their guides in my first 60K ly travels around the bubble. I "already" got two ships, one for exploring, one for combat (i didnt yet use). I got my Asp Explorer outfitted nicely by now and with the Guardian FSD Booster it finally manages a little above 65ly per jump. This now is finally the point where i am heading to Colonia. And i am taking the long scenic route. Means no Neutron jumps, just plain old 300-400 normal jumps. Plotted the first 211 of them and i am in no mans land once again.

I did already explore enough to got the Elite rank in Exploration - i went on a trip eastwards out of the bubble until i found myself really totally unexplored territory to get some planets with my personal flag in it saying "i was here - first". Got me a nice few badges as well. Now i am off in another direction. I am curious if i get to go even further and visit Sagittarius A* as well in the "near" future.
