Ram Tah Appeals for Ancient Data (Scientific Data, Horizons only)

    End: 03/02/2017

Earlier this month the engineer Ram Tah launched his research project to investigate the ancient ruins in the Synuefe XR-H d11-102 system. Since then hundreds of pilots have answered the call and begun to discover hidden data about the race that seemingly built the structures.

Now Ram Tah in association with United Meene Labour has issued an appeal for the following obelisk data types Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta and Epsilon from the site to aid him in locating other sites as part of an ongoing research project. The organisation has promised to reward pilots who deliver this data to Felice Dock in the Meene system.

When contacted Ram Tah released this statement:

“The information about the “Guardians” that has been discovered so far has been very exciting, but this is only the tip of the iceberg so to speak. All evidence points to the fact that this is not an isolated site, there are others out there and my research must now move to finding these locations.”

“With the help of other like minded pilots I hope to use the various data types to unlock the Guardian monolith network and use it to find other sites.”

The campaign begins on the 20th of January 3302 and will run for 2 weeks. If the final target is met earlier than planned, the campaign will end immediately.

To be eligible for rewards you must sign up as an active participant before delivering Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta and Epsilon Obelisk Data to Felice Dock in the Meene system.

Be aware that faction-state changes, UA bombing and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.

Sirius Corp. to Address Unknown-Artefact Issue

    End: 02/02/2017

It is widely understood that Unknown Artefacts have the ability to extract materials from their immediate environment as part of a complex self-repair process. Unfortunately, this can have disastrous effects on starships and other forms of machinery.

Perhaps the worst affected by this phenomena have been the galaxy's starports, many of which have had to suspend services as a result of Unknown-Artefact related disruption. The high prices offered for Unknown Artefacts on the black market means many starports have been flooded with the mysterious objects. And although meta-alloys can be used to counter Unknown-Artefact related interference, the scarcity of the material means this potential salve has had little impact.

But a recent announcement from the Sirius Corporation indicates that the company intends to tackle the issue by funding a major new research and development project. The purpose of the project is to make starports and other outposts more resistant to Unknown-Artefact related interference through the application of specific microresources.

In support of this programme, the Sirius Corporation has placed an open order for Unknown Fragments, Untypical Shield Scans and Aberrant Shield Pattern Analysis, and promised to reward pilots who deliver these materials to Cormack Hub in the Procyon system.

The campaign begins on the 19th of January 3303 and will run for two weeks. If the final target is met earlier than planned, the campaign will end immediately.

To be eligible for rewards you must sign up as an active participant before delivering Unknown Fragments, Untypical Shield Scans and Aberrant Shield Pattern Analysis to Cormack Hub in the Procyon system.

Be aware that faction-state changes, UA bombing and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.

    Colonia Migration Appeal, January 3303

    Localização: Colonia | End: 02/02/2017

The Colonia Council has launched a second migration initiative, once again giving the galaxy's minor factions an opportunity to establish a permanent presence in the Colonia Nebula.

This month, the Council has targeted the following systems for colonisation:

    EOL PROU LW-L C8-10 EOL PROU LW-L C8-6 EOL PROU LW-L C8-54 EOL PROU PX-T D3-1609 EOL PROU IW-W E1-3231

To compete for a migration visa, pilots must sign up with Colonia Migration Services before delivering quantities of Galactic Travel Guides to Jaques Station in the Colonia system.

At the end of the appeal, the ten factions that have made the largest contribution will earn the right to settle in one of the specified systems. A new planetary outpost will be constructed in the system for the organisation's sole use.

Be aware that organisations settling in the Colonia Nebula will be considered independent entities, separate from their parent faction.

This month's campaign begins on the 5th of January 3303 and will run for four weeks. If the final target is met earlier than planned, the campaign will end immediately.

To participate in the appeal you must sign up as an active participant before delivering Galactic Travel Guides to Jaques Station in the Colonia system.

If the final target is met earlier than planned, the campaign will end immediately and the winning factions will be announced.

Be aware that faction-state changes, UA bombing and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.

    Conflict in Parun (Bounty Hunting)

    End: 19/01/2017

A plot to destabilise the Independents of Parun by smuggling quantities of Personal Weapons, Exposives, and Reactive Armor into Underwood Port has been uncovered. In response, the Independents of Parun has placed bounties on all Laksmii Jet Power Industries ships operating in Parun in the hope of thwarting the operation. The organisation has appealed to the galactic community for support, promising to reward pilots who support its campaign.

The operation begins on the 12th of January 3303 and will run for one week. If the final target is met earlier than planned, the campaign will end immediately.

To earn rewards you must sign up as an active participant before handing in Bounty Vouchers at Underwood Port in the Parun system. Only Bounty Vouchers handed in after signing up will count toward your personal contribution total. Please note that if you have any crew members, a portion of your bounty vouchers will be automatically assigned to them. These bounty vouchers will not count towards your personal contribution total, and your crew will receive the reward for their vouchers when they are handed in. The proportion of bounty vouchers assigned to your crew will depend on their rank.

Be aware that faction-state changes, UA bombing and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.
