Since late 2019, IGAU and other groups have been surveying the Graea Hypue sector near Hen 2-333 in search of Guardian sites.

Over the past four and a half years more than two dozen guardian sites have been discovered within a ~300 ly radius of Hen 2-333.

We are calling on the exploration community in a cooperative effort to comb through unexplored regions of the Graea Hypue Sector, in an effort to find more Guardian Ruins, as they may provide some benefit to the current Thargoid War, as well as other benefits to humanity.

• This expedition starts with a tour of all known Guardian sites in the Graea Hypue Sector
• A featured waypoint is the GEC entry "Behemoth In The Pink" (https://edastro.com/gec/view/356)
• Each month (Between October 2023, and August 2024 ) a new set of waypoints will be posted.
• No waypoints will be posted in December 2023, and May 2024, so as to provide a break for participants, and allow stragglers "catch up" time.

• Distant Ruins will start on IGAU's 4th anniversary and conclude in Graea Hypue AA-A d0 on IGAU's 5th anniversary (September 29th, 2024).

• CMDR's are ENCOURAGED to scan as many systems between waypoints.
• We also encourage participants to share data to EDDN, EDSM, and others, for the benefit of the entire exploration community.
• Guardian Sites will show up on an FSS scan, under the locations header (see image)
• Survey opportunities will be available for participants who wish to boxel/subsector survey between waypoints.

We ask participants to FSS scan ALL bodies in each Graea Hypue system they travel through during the expedition.

• IGAU Will also host a regular shuttle between the bubble (Cupinook) and Graea Hypue during the duration of the expedition.
• IGAU Fleet carriers will be stationed in Graea Hypue to provide Universal Cartographics, Repair, Refuel, and Vista Genomics services.
