It's finally here. There's a little under three hours left before our scheduled launch window. Watched the first wave head out via a feed from Dr. Kaii. It was impressive to witness (maybe a little too impressive).

With 10,000 of us signed on to this endeavor, it makes me wonder how things will be going back in the bubble. What with the increased Thargoid hostility into inhabited space, will there be enough pilots staying behind to prevent a possibly unrecoverable change in the bubble. It does leave one with a little trepidation and an undertone of guilt. I haven't really fought the Thargoids personally; my own interactions with him have never been blatantly hostile other than the Gnosis incident; and it could be argued that this was an incursion into their territory. Still, I have seen the aftermath of Thargoid attacks on stations firsthand.

But enough of dwelling on that situation, I've been preparing for this expedition for months. And it's amazing how much prep still came down to the 11th hour. But Laika is ready and and all the additional preparations for what we're attempting to do out at Sag* A have been put into place. I have even stocked up on synth mats for for emergencies, though my hat is off to the CMDRs that maxed out everything.

I'm going to end it here for now. Thinking about running over to Lave real quick to get some of that Lavian Brandy to celebrate with on the far side of the galaxy.
