It was named by the Galactic Mapping Project with the name of: HIP 102082 Carbon Star

466 ships passed through HIP 102082 space, including 1 ship in the last 7 days.

0 ship passed through HIP 102082 space in the last 24 hours.

Surveyed by the ancient Hipparcos sky survey, HIP 102082 is a large carbon star at the end of its life span. Although being nearly 200 times the size of Sol, it only has twice its mass, its outer layers reaching well into the orbits of its two innermost planets. The planets are landable but barren and scarred by the stars violent outbursts, although it's still a sight to be seen.
