A distant blue-white supergiant in the Sagittarius constellation. Despite its enormous distance from Earth it is still the 49th brightest star in the constellation when measured in apparent brightness from Earth. The system itself contains six stars in addition to 15 Sagittarii but no landable planets. A designated landing site for the Sagittarius-Carina Mission is situated in a nearby system, on a moon that is tidally locked around its parent gas giant.
