Began taking the Neutron Superhighway. Man, what a rush.. and what a time saver. We'll see how much wear and tear it puts on the system. I'm more worried at ship integrity at this point.
I'm trying again.. again...
A few smaller jaunts into Outer orion spur, to go nebula visiting, as well as a trip to hawking's gap.. I'm ready, I think.
Made it to Hawking's Gap, via Outer Orion Spur.
Now, planning to skirt the edge of Hawking's Gap and begin making my way back. Plan is to ride the edge of Hawking's gap as long as I can, snagging as many systems as possible.
Once back in Inner orion spur, it'll be a more direct trip back.
I tried a jaunt to Sag-A*, got about halfway out, and decided to head back. I've explored a bit here and there, but never felt completely safe. This time, i've done my best to fix that.
I'm striking out, stocked with repair limpets, an AFMU, and some SRVs. Damn the extra tonnage.
So far, the kids are still in storage. No need to boot up the limpets just yet. I'm about halfway to my first waypoint and already I'm carving my name in the side of newly discovered systems. That was my main goal, really. Get a few more systems under my belt and have the resources necessary to pause along the way and smell the braintrees. [found one, btw.. not any other life signs as of yet]
I am discovering that geological sites are a great place to pick up Materials with questionable morals.
