(Krait Mk II)
I sat on my ship for the third day of the expedition. Having received a long range communication from an old friend who was having a hard time; (Modern technology is amazing.) she was able to holo-visit with me. We spent the day on the ship watching ancient earth media. All considered it was a very nice visit. I wish her the best moving forward.
Today I have a semi-busy day. The OEF Flux Capacitor is scheduled to depart the Thaileia IO-M A89-6 system in approximately twelve hours and I have a bit of mapping and exploration to accomplish for this sector of the galaxy.
Mapped a few systems today. A few gas giants and high metal content worlds. Back on the flux awaiting the jump. I found a crate of alcohol in my personal effects that I have forgotten about. This expidetion just got alot more dangerous. I won't be flying into any stars this time... I hope
Upon waking up I set out to mine the surrounding areas. I had to locate most of my own tritium. My jump range for the Mako Reactor is only about 30 ly.
I managed to get up around 100 tritium after a little time and effort. I split the haul with the Flux. Sold half to the market for a profit and the other half I donated directly into the storage tank.
I then decided it would be a better idea to keep on exploring the surrounding systems. We depart Wednesday for the next leg of our trip.
I am very happy to watch my account grow.
Arriving in Thaileia IO-M a89-2 I promptly set out to explore the vast reaches of space. I found nothing spectacular out there yet, but my hopes to be the first to discover an EWL and map it by the end of this journey are high. Hell I bet I even get 10.. or 20.
Who knows what's going to happen. I have just landed on the carrier for the night. I am fueled and ready to go tomorrow. Perhaps I may take out the python and stretch its wings a bit. I wonder if the expedition has located any tritium yet? I suppose I will have to check the feed tomorrow morning after breakfast.
What wonders lay ahead?
Rest well commanders. We have a great undertaking ahead of us.
Captain's Log - 18 Feb 3307
I have been accepted into a new squadron. My hopes rest in Solar Flux growing and developing into a home.
In other news I have signed on a 6 month expidition with OEF. We will be departing from the Syntec system on Saturday 20 Feb. I find myself filled with a wonderlust and excitement for this new journey; but I am also filled with trepidation. I've never been this far from the bubble for this long.
Friday night I will be doing my final check to make sure everything is good for launch. In the mean time I have some contracts to finish out.
Suplimental-1723
I have taken on work as a Federal Courier. I have a back log of data deliveries. The work doesn't pay much but all the trips are short so it covers the fuel cost. The 6a Fuel scoop I put on the Aesir earlier in the week has paid for it self a thousand times over. I will carry on, carrying on the post until I get enough to slap some engineering on my ship components.
Supplemental-1921
I have landed on Metcalf Dock in the Midgcut system. After completing my courier mission I noted an interesting mission on the board. I would be remiss if I didn't take it. The mail will just have to wait.
Suplimental-2235
Delivering the last digital mail to the farthest outpost I have ever been to, I am ready to retire. I am currently making my way back to the safety of the carrier I am to call home for the next 1/2 an earth year.
