I decided to take my DBX to Skardee 1, without heatsinks. It only got up to about 115% heat - very much cooler than my Python.

This particular base is Hollis Gateway, on Hermitage 4 a at -53.7548/157.5843.

This was the final site on my settlement/INRA base tour, which was completed nearly a month ago.

Since then, I've prepared for the next Small Worlds Expedition by fitting out and engineering my Dolphin. Squeee!

Stuart Retreat is on HIP 15329 A 3 c at -62.6134/-44.2569.

Stack is on HIP 12099 1 a at -72.6561/-67.3629.

The base is surrounded by orange goop, much like Carmichael Point.

More disturbingly, there is a pit with Thargoid pieces scattered about.

There are some large tanks leaking some sort of orange goopy stuff. According to the recorded logs, it was used as bait to lure Thargoids in for weapons testing. Apparently, the test failed.

In a break from visiting attacked settlements, Jameson's Demise on HIP 12099 1 b at -54/-50 is the location of the remains of a Cobra Mk3 flown by Cmdr John Jameson, who had a significant role in the previous Thargoid 'War'.

His story can be found in the logs scannable at the site.

Research Base KG-3362 is on Pleiades Sector HR-W d1-17 1 a at 58.1148/19.5427.

Sharpe Works is on Pleiades Sector IC-U b3-1 1 at -4.9515/-85.7631.

Research Base LV 87 is on HIP 17403 A 4 at -51.1984/14.2110.

Penal Colony BV-2259 is on HIP 16217 AB 1 a at -55.0009/30.2834.

I've heard there's some way to drive your SRV into base and activate the colony defenses against the Thargoid (not that they're powerful enough to do anything, but it would be cool to watch).
