I'm just over 1,000 LY out from home, I've been out further before, this isn't a big deal to me but I think I've spent too long in the bubble because today I screwed up and the ship's emergency systems had to kick it and drop me out of FSD just above the star, this is the reason I have a AMFU and repair limpets. Luckily, the surface of various planets has provided me with additional raw materials so I've been able to resupply the limpets and get everything repaired. All in all, it's not been a bad trip, I'm going to make a side trip to the Sadr logistics depot so because it's only 21 jumps away so I might as well and then it's back on with the trip out west. Travelling in the Imperial Cutter is a near luxurious experience. Better than the Asp and Python!

It's day two of my little exploration jaunt "out west", I'm a seasoned explorer and yet I still screw up and this time not even 1,000 LY from home, I'm glad that synthesis allowed me to make limpets to repair the hull and I'm glad that exploring for resources allows for additional materials and i've updated my checklists for approaching planets, bigger ships need more time to slow down, lesson learned.

From here I think I'll make a jaunt out to Sadr Region Sector GW-W c1-22 and the logistics depot for a check up. Exploration is always worthwhile and I'm hoping that this time I'll find something unique.
